Sexual abuse allegations require careful and impartial investigation, and those who come forward with them should be honored for their bravery. At the same time, it’s imperative that these cases are managed with compassion for all parties involved.
Andie Paige Rosafort asked for the victim’s address before picking him up in her large car and driving him a short distance away, where they engaged in sexual contact of some sort. Rosafort is now charged with second-degree sexual assault and enticing minors via computer.
What happened?
Andie rosafort, 31, who worked as a lunch aide at New Fairfield High School in Connecticut. One parent reported the suspected sexual encounter at New Fairfield to school officials who suspected Rosafort may have had inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old student from a party and believed it might involve sexual misconduct; after further investigation they tentatively identified Rosafort as their source. State police then started their investigation.
Investigators were informed by Rosafort’s alleged victim that Rosafort had been communicating with him via private social media messages for months, asking for photos and sending nude pictures back and forth between themselves. Rosafort attended his sports events as well as sending videos showing herself playing, the affidavit stated.
On Jan. 13, she picked him up from a party held at his friend’s house and engaged in sexual conduct before leaving her vehicle, according to his account. At some point during their encounter he felt uneasy and decided not to return before rejoining the festivities at his friend’s place.
Who was she talking to?
New Fairfield cafeteria aide, according to an affidavit, began communicating with 14-year-old boy in eighth grade and continued their communication throughout ninth grade year. She sent nude pictures and videos, asking him for sexually explicit ones in return.
Rosafort initiated her alleged relationship with the victim on September 20, 2022, when she said to him “You wanna see something?” and sent an explicit image. According to his affidavit citing conversations between herself, other teens at his games and practices, and Rosafort, their alleged affair quickly escalated.
She allegedly sent him naked pictures, recorded him during his games and practices, sent nude videos of herself in bed and sent nude videos of herself naked to him. After police began their investigation into their allegations of second-degree sexual assault she resigned her position as school aide; though married privately.
How long did it last?
According to the police affidavit, Andie Rosafort interacted with a boy for months via Instagram and Snapchat, sending sexually explicit photos and nude videos that were meant for him specifically. When the teen asked if the pictures were intended for him specifically, Andie responded that yes they were indeed meant for him; she even drove him to games and practices!
Investigators believe their investigation began when school system administrators received information that an employee of Rosafort had inappropriate contact with one of her students, state police noted. The victim reported to them that on Jan 13 he left a party with friends to meet Rosafort who then picked him up in her SUV before engaging in sexual acts inside. Police allege this has occurred before as well.
A 31-year-old former New Fairfield cafeteria aide was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child, and enticing minors through computer. She pled not guilty to all three charges against her and promptly resigned upon learning about the investigation being opened against her.

He allegedly described an incident from September 2022, in which she sent him a direct image and messaged “You want to see something?”. After asking if she sent it in error, she responded with more images.
Police used cellphone records to establish that she had sent numerous explicit images and videos to the alleged victim via her cellphone, leading them to charge her with second-degree sexual assault, enticing minors by computer and risk of injury to minors. At her arraignment this month, a judge issued an injunction banning her from talking, threatening, abusing harassing or following the alleged victim; she remains free on $100,000 bond without access to social media platforms.
